I'm not sure if this will help or not but I was called to reset a SI on a late model GM van recently.Followed Autodata,no luck and like you was told by dealer that Tech 2 needed.On this van the display could show either time or mileage-it was set to show time.Eventually found what Autodata does not tell you: first set the display to show mileage then follow reset procedure. It just might be similar on your Vauxhall Corsa.
