Hi Roy. Before going any further, Try this:- Remove the batteries from the plips, Press each button 10 times to dischage the residual in the remote, (or better still short the contacts together with a small screwdriver where the batteries fit in, Replace the batteries or fit new if they are tired, Get close to the car and press the unlock button repeatedly (quickly)untill it unlocks. normally about 5 to 10 presses sorts them out, if this doesn't work it will need reprogramming with diagnostic gear, I wouldn't hesitate to buy the avon equipment as it could soon pay for it's self.
