Hi Terry,
Check the condition of the MAF sensor.Watch live data on AD and see if it responds when you blip the throttle! usually find these to be damaged by water ingress and are only £77.10 + vat from Landrover.Steve Norman has also posted before on Oil ingress to the ECU behind the Battery! Just done one on his advice and he was right on the money!!! Had to 'Wash' the loom with brake cleaner, dry-off and then it was ok! But as of yet, I do not think that there is a real cure. Apparently, even the Landrover modified loom does not work!
