    Hi David. If this is anything like the BMW systems, they suffer with sticking throttle butterflies, you press the pedal which tells the throttle butterfly to open but it doesn't because it's stuck closed, usually after a few presses it opens and revs up ok. (like yours) So take off the inlet and have a look to see if it is sticking, We have bought a couple of BMW ones and we have cleaned one up and lubricated it and it worked fine. We code read them with the KTS and it usually comes up with something like throttle, mechanical fault.
