    Most of these cars use a system where the ,plip. is received by the central locking module which , in turn communicates with the engine management ECU. We often hear that the central locking controller is an unreliable component. If you post the part number of the engine management ECU then I can confirm if it is an immobilised type (Be sure to post the number beginning S--- and any suffix letters). If it is this type , then to bypass the immobiliser , an un-immobilised ECU will have to be fitted.
