The above has heavy steering (but not as heavy as if PS wasn't working at all). intermitently the steering goes very light much as it should be when manouvering. Car was diagnosed at main dealer as requiring new pump and pipes (modified pump). Customer wouldn`t pay main dealer prices to fit so we ended up fitting them. Problem still apparent. Have checked archives and see there is mention of a ZF relay which plays up. Main dealer parts dept has no knowledge of this part. Do these Omegas have variable assist steering? Any info gratefully received.
