Hi all This Daewoo is driving me nuts. First came in for fuel pipe leak from pump to fuel filter. Fitted new pipe and sent out. 1 week later broken down customer said ran out of fuel she put in 5lrs and so did we. No start checked and found fuel pump no pressure. New pump £270 so fitted second hand, sent out vehicle and it broke down in 1 mile. Added £10.00 fuel road tested for 15miles all ok. 3days later breaks down fuel pump spinning no pressure. Thought pump could be faulty fitted another pump. Road tested for 15 miles all ok gave back vehicle to customer and it breaks down in 2 days. Checked pump found spinning and no pressure. Fitted another pump before I could check any pressures etc pump stopped found it spinning again no pressure. Fitted pump from astra and checked fuel pressures found them all to spec. Checked for pipe blockages and voltages to pump fit new fuel filter. Checked tank vent ok. Fitted another pump tested pressures just before fuel rail ok and tested just after pump all ok. Car then started ok left over night car started ok in morning left running for 5 mins road tested and broke down within 200meters no fuel pressure again.
Cannot think of any thing else to check it cannot be 3 pumps at fault? I must be missing some thing here any suggestion would be appreciated
