    Yes ECU is very common problem fault codes show as coil output. ECU should be extremely small and attached to throttle body they are a sealed non repairable unit, you need to purchase one from the dealers, cost £216 exchange incl vat with trade discount. Fit the ECU the car will start but the MIL light will flash rapidly let the car idle for around 15 mins until the cooling fan comes in, then hit the excellerator hard until it hits the rev limiter 3 times. this will set the fenolic or phenolic or folic code whatever bollocks name fiat have for it. Mil light will re set. Then you draw the cash :-)
