Vauxhall Corsa 1.2 - Intermitant Stall - will not restart Archived Message

Hi,
Had a corsa in for a few weeks now. Drives then stops and wont start, without any pattern other than getting more regular. i.e. wont go more than 20 mins now. No fault codes and all other data OK Tested all wiring and signals to ECU. There seems to be nothing in the archives other than the usual faults with these. I am now of the opinion that it is an ECU fault. It has also been in a Dealer and another independant before me.
My question is can I get a second hand ECU to code in and how?
If not can a new ECU unit be done with anything other than tech2.
