    Hi Chris. The A.B.S warning light usually comes on when you disconnect the ECU due to a shorting pin in the plug that bridges the warning light wire to earth, I think the purpose of this is so that when some smart arse tries to fool the mot tester by disconnecting the abs ecu, it puts the light on. So that has proved that the warning light wire is ok to the ecu.
