Fiat Punto 55 1995 SPI - Revving high - no fault codes Archived Message

Hi
Ok, got the above car with us for high revving. It will rise up to about 4,000 rpm. Its only done it once with us but cleared itself before we had time to check anything.
No fault codes, live data seems fine. We have fitted a new coil as there was a misfire which has cured that. Customer says fault is still there!
Only thing in the archives was for a 'w' reg punto which seemed to be the stepper motor.
Anything obvious on these beasts to check??
