Hello Mick i dont know if this info is any help to you but i once had knew of somebody who tried to fit an alarm into fuel pump circuit of lexus and the ecm immediately thought somebody was tampering with car and shut ecm down apparently,alarm specialist had to leave ignition switched on for 30 mins to allow ecm to relearn and reset itself. regards J S
