These hybrid EZ ignition control units are not repairable by anyone unfortunately. A friend of mine has just replaced one after agonising over his diagnostics for a week, --no primary switching but would fire coil on ign on/off. It was the EZ unit, £500 + at MB but NO LONGER available, Bosch £700+ net and still available.
