Hi.. Ive had a few of these.. dont know if youve checked but at the back of the carb running too and from the inlet manifold/distributor etc are little vacuum pipes that have a penchant for splitting/cracking. I know youve probably checked this as an obvious.. but ive had a cuple whereby on 'looking' at them they looked fiine, gve them a tweak and find leaks.. movement with engine when like approaching junctions etc accentuate the movement. There's that many of them. Hope its helps.. just a thought anyhow. regards, Mike
