This is a Skoda engined (not polo engined)MPi car which has a poor idle,( sorry but i dont have the Skoda pod for my Lucas Laser 2000 so cant say if there are fault codes))it has a new Pierburg throttle body/throttle motor assembly. When idling hot it drops slightly in revs then shoots up, will do this often when idling, coolant sensor readings ok(4 pin type)as is MAP sensor, no air leaks, mixture reading is ok, sometimes the lambda sensor stops switching but even when its switching normally it still hunts, disconnecting the sensor made no difference, any ideas please?
