Cheers Kev I think I have this sorted now. Phoned up independent Merc Commercial dealer today and spoke to him about the numbers on chassis plate he told me that this is used to identify the front axle assy I then asked him for the part No. of the spring for this axle No. and it was the same given to me my other dealer so i,ve ordered it.
