Hi
We have a car which was hard starting unless the accelerator is pressed, running rough and hesitation when driving. Plugs and leads were changed before we got it. plugged in scan tool and got codes p0301 misfire no.1 p1520 intake manifold runner control malfunction. removed manifold and found the flaps loose and rattling. Changed manifold and now it will start off the key, slight hesitationthen, clears and drives ok but cant clear the code p1520 wondering do the flaps work with the unit on side of manifold which is also piped to the manifold? and does it need to be reset with factory tool?
