    BMW 328 E36 1996 - Alarm / immobiliser fault # Archived Message

    Hi all,

I really am in need of some information if at all possible.

A potential customer has called in desperation at the alarm/immobiliser not switching off. The car has been stuck for some weeks after promises from one of many mobile mechanics not being able to provide a solution.

The customer now wants the system removing. Before embarking on it we were wondering if there is a direct connection to the ECU from the alarm module. The customer tells me that the alarm has a siren with 3T written/embossed on it.

The only thing that we would like confirming is whether or not we could remove it safely without leaving the car immobilised as per a typical aftermarket alarm system removal.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Many thanks in advance,
    Andrew
