Hi started to change the timing chains on this engine, removed the top timing cover without a problem but cannot remove the lower cover. The cover itself is loose, it is not on any dowels (ihave taped 1 dowel into the engine to clear the cover an can run a razor blade between the cover and the sump so i am sure there are no dowels. As i said before the cover itself is very loose will move back/forward and side to side.removed the oil seal and using a mirror and my borescope i think i may be able to see a circlip, i say think because its not very clear and i cannot see anyway of removing it if it is a clip. Has anyone on here done one of these had this problem and overcome it. Thanks Tommy
