David, reading your original post again,you have no fault. KOEO=no light,never KOER,ground the switch wire and light comes on. I spent a bit of time chasing a similar fault on a 206,got the cluster checked,the LED was working but still no oil light. With engine running and switch wire grounded,it took an apparently expensive amount of time before the light came on. What sidetracked me a bit was I expected to see the light on immediately the wire was grounded. I suppose modern drivers don't want to be distracted by unnecessary lights on the dash
