Are the fuel tank change over valves working correctly. Had the fuel gone bad, it would have a distinct smell. It can leave a tar like substance in the fuel system. Clamp the return pipe and see what the pressure goes to, it may also force some fuel past the sticking injectors as Andy said in his previous post.
