Hi
This car has the EPS light on, the steering is occasionally heavy and the indicators wont self cancel.
The EPS pump connections have been checked and appear ok.
The DTCs are,
EPS U2139 lost coms with CIM
SRS U2139lost coms with CIM
CIM B1020 Steering angle sensor
I have checked com line for continuity between SRS, EPS and CIM all ok.
TIS2000 shows the steering angle sensor on the rack but I cant find it there. I believe it could be in the CIM, am I correct in my thinking?
I have checked lives and earths to CIM, all ok. Live reading shows no response from steering angle sensor.
I think the CIM has to be programed if a new one is fitted. Is this right
