Can anyone shed some light on this vehicle for me. man light keeps coming on,code stored is always 004120 intake manifold runner(bank 2) lower limit not reached p1018 upper limit exceeded. now i believe this to be the manifold "flap control motor" to be at fault,customer had been told by vw that it wants a complete manifold/motor unit £800 fitted. i have enquired and the motor does come seperate at £156. i have also heard there is a software update and not to just fit the motor unit?? has anyone had dealings with these and can someone advise me best course of action. many thanks sean
