Audi A4 Avant TDI 2005 - Battery goes flat overnight #Archived Message

The above vehicle has the side lights and dip beam on all the time that the engine is running. If you leave the vehicle overnight, with what appears as lights off the vehicle battery will be flat, but if you disconnect the lighting ECU then the battery will be fine. The module for lighting has been replaced but the fault is still there. Any ideas please?! Thanks
