evening wifes friend has the above vw polo ,pass window stopped working ,had a quick look pass window would not work from drivers switch but would work from pass door switch , then it stopped working altogether checked with vag com no faults present so stripped pass door removed motor motor board full of eletronics but could power motor from batt and would work refitted to door and would work fine from pass switch not from drivers then after 10 mins would stop altogether again / replace motor with new unit exactly the same will initially work then afterabout 10 mins will stop but if you remove electrical plug and put plug in removed old motor then refit electrical plug into motor fited to car will work again for a further 10 mins then stop again but will only work from pass switch never from drivers have had a look at wiring diagrams canot make any sense of fault any ideas sorry for long winded post thanks for reading mick
