Vehicle brought to us with intermittent loss of power steering. This vehicle has latest type of electronic controlled power steering.Fault code read producing code c1500 steering moment sensor faulty intermittent.Assumption is simply that the power unit is ready to give up though am perplexed as to what a 'moment' sensor is and whether this is remote from the power unit or part of it before i purchase and fit this £300 pound unit wonder if the cause of the problem is a sensor and not the power unit? Can anyone shed any light on this subject.Have scanned archives but unable to see any detail on this problem anywhere.Cheers J
