As Kev says, This radio ought to be "RESET" in its original vehicle before removing it as otherwise you cannot reprogram it in another vehicle using Tech 2. Our local main agent has dropped a few boo boo's with these by taking the radios out and getting them mixed up in the wrong vehicles and ended up having to buy some new units to sort the problem out. We have only today programmed one up for a local Radio decode place after they "Virginised" the radio, the radio didnt work as I think it was Faulty but it appeared to program up ok and the Messsage "Safe" went off the dash. This was the first one that they have had the software to Virginise and wanted to do it as a Tester to see if they could do it. I think most of these Vauxhall units play OK when fitted into another vehicle but always Display "Safe" on the display. H.T.H. Tony.
