Range Rover 3.0D 2003 - Active air suspension, fault code 116 # Archived Message

    Hi

Can anyone help with a sporadic fault with the active air suspension on 2003 range rover. Reading fault codes using T4 code 116 reservoir pressure static when filling is present. Code is cleared and doesnot reappear for a couple of weeks. Live data shows different values for the reservoir at different times ranging from 1.0 bar when the fault is present to 11.9 bar when the system is operating correctly. The compressor and some valves can be heard to operate when activated and the various controls seem to operate when viewing live data. Is there a way to measure the physical pressures using a gauge at various points around the system to pinpoit where the fault may lie. Advice on how the system works in easy language would be appreciated thanks in advance

    Paul
