Hello all, I have just had a similar fault on a Rover 75. I had failed it on the MOT for no ABS warning light, no indicator tell-tales or fog light warning. I replaced the instrument cluster with a second hand unit, which the customer supplied (had 60,000 miles more on it), which fixed the ABS warning light fault. After spending hours disconnecting things on the k bus circuit , I came to the conclusion that the replacement instrument cluster must be faulty, but after speaking to the customer I decided to check again & thought that I would disconnect the k bus wire from pin 3(white/red/yellow wire, left hand connector on the back of cluster) & from the light control module & put a direct link between the two. I then found the k bus worked ok & got communication between the light control module & instrument cluster(proving instrument cluster to be ok). I then managed to find the fuel burning heater had a k bus connection , which wasn't shown on the wiring diagram or communications bus diagram. After disconnecting the fuel burning heater, the K bus worked ok again.(then it was time for dinner 22.00 hrs). Sorry for the long post, hope this helps, regards, Andrew
