BMW 320 Diesel 2005 - Service light reset #Archived Message

After service tried to reset service indicator following instructions from AD. No joy. It does not have idrive. Noticed that service mileage was -16000. Told customer this and he said the last garage could not reset either. He also stated that the computer indicates that he is getting over 90 miles to the gallon. I am going to get it back in next week to check for codes etc and see what I can find. Any thoughts on the service reset?
