Just to warn you. Though I have never had any problem with the older engines, I have just snapped off the top retaining bolt (The one with the extension on it for the cover retaining bolt.) I wasnt in any way rough with this, just barely showed it the spanner as it were! (They must be making the more recent bolts out of creem cheese like the Japs do!  ) Its not the end of the world if this happens, the pump housing is easy enough to remove to drill out the broken bit, but it is a PITA none the less! Judging by the stocking record at my Local Pug/Cit dealer Im not the only one to have this problem!  You have been warned!  |
