After being told by Main agent there was now way we would be able to do anything with this box far too complicated (they will only touch if they can fit actuator, clutch and ECM circa £1500!)
I had a better look, works similar to Alfa selespeed one motor to depress conventional clutch and two motors to move selectors then three twin track potentiometers to relay positions back to the ECM, I removed the motors and took the armatures out and found one quite burnt on the commutator so cleaned it and re-fitted then adjusted the clutch actuator throw. Then extended stop start road test.
Snappy field engineer Paul Marshall came to gather software info for the unknown code...big thank you to Paul as He hooked up His own Toyota Intelligent Tester II no codes now at the mo, so fingers crossed...
