Cambelt does not run water pump.
V6 belt is driven from jockey sprocket at the top of the block.This sprocket i think is chain or gear driven from the crank.
Remove o/s engine top mount and both top and bottom steady bars and dipstick tube then jack
engine up AS MUCH AS YOU DARE!!
Persevere and the top mounting plate will JUST wiggle out with very long lower mounting bolt removed first.
Took me about 5 hrs.
