    32 does not specificly mean bonnet switch although thats generally what faults. It means either the interior sensors or bonnet switch.

    When the convienience floods the wiring usually gets water in the insulation and connections causing a high resistance. Consequently the signal from the bonnet switch is intermittent (if at all present) and the alarm will sound. You'll sometimes also find the exterior temp will read wrong and slowly get better as everything dries.

    After fixing the cause of the leak vac out as much water as possible and then let the customer use the car. Eventually it will dry out but it would be sat in your workshop for ages if you wait for it all to dry.
