Audi TT 2003 - OSF dip beam only working sometimes #Archived Message

Audi TT came into us today with the o/s/f dip beam only working some times.we put our vag-com on but never showed up anything.we checked fuses and swapped head lamp ignitors from side to side but still o/s not working.swapped bulbs side to side and still the same.then you try them and they start working ok.leave for a few hours and o/s stops again.not sure about testing power at bulb as they have the the gas filled xeon fitted and what power they have at the bulb.have any one had similar fault. THANKS
