We have been unsuccessful at resetting the service interval display on some Mercedes Benz passenger car models, typically those around 4-6yrs old. Following the button pressing sequence listed on Autodata and Mototek bulletins does not appear to work on vehicles which have exceeded the due time/mileage. Bosch KTS can read the instrument cluster and produce actual values, but offers no reset facility. If equipment is needed, besides Star and Autologic, is anything available at a more reasonable cost?
