What I am asking is does anyone know of a connector system to repair this coax cable in a chargeable quality way. Cable is much smaller than traditional ariel coax, outside diam approx 6mm.
Alternative is to replace cable, quite time consuming.
Understand a repair can be made with solder & tape but would like to do it a little better.
If anyone has the same problem the following info may help speed up the diagnoses. The boot lid is plastic, ariel is integral and includes various amplifiers depending on spec. Some radios have one coax, some two. Further amps & ariels can be fitted for remote locking, remote additional heater, navigation and phone. All cables are bent every time boot is opened. This one was also wet with condensation behind trim.
