i have a fiat punto mk2,2000,1.2 8v,after fitting a clutch and reconnecting the battery the digital dash is blank,i have tried another multi function control unit on the fusebox and all works but it wont start due to the immobiliser in there,what i need to know is if i find a control unit with a matching key from a breakers will it be compatable with the ecm or is that coded also. any information will be greatly appreciated.
