Have this vehicle in at the moment with ESP fault message. Codes stored were C1161 lateral acceleration sensor (stored) and C1170 SAS zero point variation (permanant). C1161 will clear but returns (not immediatly). This vehicle has the combined Yaw/lateral sensor.
Live data shows SAS reading 0 at straight ahead, but there is a reading for SAS offset which reads -157. Can anyone tell me what this is referanced to? I thought that it might be referanced to the lateral sensor but cant see any live data for this.
Autodata shows a connection between lateral sensor / SAS going onto earth. Trying to get an idea of how these units interact, any info would be appriciated.
