Hi this one is driving me nuts at the moment the car makes what can only be described as a creak at times or a rattle at other times the noise is the same and can only be made to do it when driving round left hand bends and is coming from the O/S/F strut area. This is such a simple McPherson strut setup and I have studied thoroughly the ARB link rod & ARB bushes also the spring cups and top bearing. The car has only done 40,000 miles and is a very clean wife's run around (not mine).
Does anyone have experience of suspension noises on these models? I have wondered about an ultra sonic microphone setup for times like this but just cant justify the expense or the time setting the thing up for such a rare occasion. John Kennard.
