Hi all does any one know the correct procedure to program a key and remote on these. I have clip and the 8 digit code and the correct chip but the tool is not very clear. A help full renault tech told me how to do it a few weeks back but it does not work. I may have have miss under stood. Procedure i have is ignition on. enter code. Then enter forced protect mode. Insert first key, light flashes fast. Enter second key light flashes fast.Then go to end key validation. and enter. for the remote press remote until led goes out approx 10 sec. release and press on and off until doors lock. this does re syncronise the original remote. don't know if it is programing or just resync. The remote i am trying to add is not new but from another car. D4 chip is new and car starts fine with original key. The car is back tomorrow for another go.
