Had this vehicle in for a slipping clutch. The friction plate on strip down was found to be close to the rivetts but not down to them, the centre boss and fingers were blue tinged. We replaced the 3 in 1 clutch with a Valeo oe kit and the slave cylinder was rerplaced. The clutch pedal, although plenty of travel at the fork end, would not clear 100% but we were not happy and though it was a faulty clutch. We therefore replaced it again and the problem is still the same with the added trouble of jumping out of 5th gear. The vehicle has covered 80,000 miles.
