Vauxhall Zafira 1.9 CDTi 120bhp 2006(56) - Clutch hydraulic problem - Fixed # Archived Message

Hi,Can anyone throw any light on this problem?
Changed dual mass flywheel, clutch unit inc.concentric cylinder due to vibration.all parts LUK,except conc.cyl(GM).
After bleeding clutch, first pump ok,then goes solid like pressing brake. If engine started, ticking over, goes into gear without pressing clutch(so clutch must be disengaged by hydraulic pressure holding in system). If bleed nipple released, fluid spouts out, pressure released off system and then won`t go into gear,(eng. still running)proving that clutch unit is working ok.
There was no problem with gear change before.
At the bulkhead where pipe comes from master cyl.there is some sort of valve inline, does anyone know what this is/does?
Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
