This one has got a fault where it sometimes locks the doors when you turn the ignition on, if it doesn't lock when the ignition is turned on, it then locks when you turn the key to the start position, Nissan Consult does not communicate with Central Timer unit. ( body control module type of thing ) One of my staff has disconnected both doors and it still causes problems, The Information on the CD says that if you press the HRW switch 6 times within 10 seconds, it puts it into test mode but this doesn't appear to work on this one. i have heard about an ignition switch fault causing some problem with the locking, But I can't see this being anything to do with the switch. ?
if you unlock it with the ignition on, it locks again, it will unlock ok when the ignition is turned off.
I dont want to buy a few hundred pound Central timer unit if it doesn't cure the problem.
