BMW 525d 2005 - Excessive handbrake travel #Archived Message

The car came in for rear bush. Fitted the bush disconected the handbrake cable. Reconected all parts but the handbrake travel is to long don't see any addjustment on the cable. Stripped it to check but all parts are built ok. Don't know what the handbrake was like when it came in customer says it was ok
