    Peugeot 306 2.0 HDI RHY 2000 - Intermittent throttle? # Archived Message

Car came in with irratic idle, surging revs and loss off control of engine revs whilst driving I.e no response when pushing the gas pedal.
Checked fault codes as engine mil was present and found two fault codes, one for glow plug relay and the other for the accelerator pedal position sensor signal/sensor (A) to high.
After deleted, problem and faults both reset after a short drive.
Checked for glow light at ign. On but it didn't light, wanted to check the relay but can't find it on any autodata info? does annyone know where it is??
Also scoped out the APP sensor and found that both the outputs which should be 0.5v-2.0v and 1.5v-3.5v both jump to over 9.0v whenever the sudden surging and loss of pedal occur and then become very irriatic/noisy waveforms? I checked feed and earth to sensor and both ok, I have condemned the sensor but wanted to know if you agree or am I overlooking something that could be affecting the seńsors outputs?? Thanks guys.
