Hi Guys This one seems pretty strange to me Ive posted it in this forum as I feel it is an electrical problem?? The vehicle doesnt start particulary well and once running the engine light and gearbox light (cog light) and charge light wont turn off. The rev counter and the speedo wont work and the mileage display will just go to dashs?? The charge rate is spot on and Im unable to get comms with ECU?? The display for the mileage also illuminates when ignition is turned on but what is odd is when the key is turned to position 1 everything turns off and when the key is taken out the mileage display illuminates green with no digits and will stay on all the time? Ive cleaned every earth point under the bonnet and will try to get to the 2 on the A pillar drivers side and see if this clears anything.. Thinking outside the box could the dose of bad weather and damp cause this  Its a head scratcher for me at the moment any suggestions hugely appreciated Ben |
