Rover 75 1.8 2001 - Standing for 6 months, now horn not working # Archived Message

Can anyone help! The above vehicle has been standing for some 6 months and is now going through an MOT. One of the faults is the horns are inop. I can get them to work by going to the back of the fuse box and giving the purple and blue wire a postive feed. The switches on the steering wheel have red and black wires and the postive red turns negetive when the buttons are pressed, this continues through the slip ring and into the wiring loom. One thing I can't find out is where the horn relay (if it has one)is to see if it has lost it's trigger. Don't want to take the easy route and fit a separate switch if I can help it. Any thoughts, anyone.
