Audi A4 ALT 2001 - Loss of drive at junctions, trans code 18150 #Archived Message

We have the above Audi A4 in and the customers complaint is that when coming to a stop at a junction the car will sometimes loose its drive. She has to put it back into park and then put it back into drive again to get it to work. Some times she has to turn the ignition off and restart for it to work. At the same time as drive loss the gear selected indicator will flash. When driving it performs normally for me.
The only code I can find in the transmission is 18150 – Clutch Torque Adaptation : Limit Reached P1742 – 35 - -
