Hi All Reference my original post, against advice the cutomer insisted we tried to repair the damage caused by the timing chain jumping, replaced both tensioners and all the guides etc, replaced chain gear which had teeth missing and finally the lower chain itself which had stretched, hey ho on start up lots of clanging ang banging, no oil pressure and one very dead engne, sounds like crank has gone. Have been on the net to try and source replacement, Nissan quote £6k pluscan anybody recommend a supplier for recon unit, I have seen a lot of dodgy deals being advertised, would appreciate your feedback. Thanks
